About The BestIPTV Team

We are a small team of cord-cutters, tech tinkerers, and streaming addicts who got tired of reading the same recycled IPTV “reviews” that were clearly written by someone who had never actually used the service.

So we started testing them ourselves.

What We Actually Do

We subscribe to IPTV services with our own money, install them on real devices sitting in our living rooms, and use them the way you would — watching sports on a Saturday, flipping through channels on a Tuesday night, testing whether 4K actually works or if it is just a marketing checkbox.

Every service we review gets a minimum of three weeks of daily use before we write a single word about it. Some we have been using for months. We test on a FireStick 4K Max, an Nvidia Shield Pro, a Samsung Smart TV (2022 model), an Android phone, and an iPad. If an app works great on the Shield but crashes on the FireStick, we will tell you that.

Who We Are

Matt — Our lead reviewer. Cut the cord in 2021 after his cable bill hit $185/month. Has tested over a dozen IPTV services since then. Runs a 100 Mbps fiber connection and gets genuinely irritated when a service buffers during Premier League matches. His living room has three streaming devices and his partner thinks he has a problem.

Sarah — Handles the setup guides and troubleshooting content. Former IT support, current stay-at-home parent who got into IPTV because she wanted her kids to have access to international channels without paying for six separate subscriptions. She is the reason our setup guides include steps like “no, the other HDMI port.”

James — Covers the technical side — app comparisons, device compatibility, VPN testing. Runs an Nvidia Shield Pro with a wired ethernet connection and a 300 Mbps line. Gets annoyed when services claim 4K but actually deliver upscaled 1080p. Has strong opinions about EPG layouts.

Our Standards

We are an affiliate site. When you sign up for a service through our links, we earn a commission. We are upfront about that because we think you should know.

But here is the thing: we only recommend services we actually use. If a service pays great commissions but the app crashes every other day, we are not going to tell you it is wonderful. Our reputation matters more than a single commission — we would rather you trust our next review than make a quick buck on this one.

We have turned down affiliate partnerships with services that did not meet our testing standards. We will not name them, but they exist.

Read our full testing methodology for the details on how we evaluate every service we review.
